Over 60km of the world's highest estuarine dunes; pristine
beaches, unique wetlands and stunning coral reefs. Over 1200
species of Indo-Pacific tropical fish can be seen along with
Bottle-nose Dolphins, sharks, hard and soft corals and the
highly endangered sea turtles. This is also the most popular
place to see Whale Sharks.
Sodwana Bay: Various reefs are situated some kilomtres
off the Sodwana coast, like: 2-Mile, 5-Mile, 7-Mile and 9-Mile
Reefs. The 2-Mile Reef is one of the most popular as it offers
a variety of sites with corals, caves and a fantastic variety
of fish.
South Africa
Diving: Diving at Sodwana is a highlight on the calendar
of most divers. Visibility can be anything from between 15
and 40m and marine creatures encountered range from reef fishes,
rays, pelagic game fish, endangered sea turtles to sharks
like the Whale
Shark and Ragged
