KWAZULU NATAL SAFARI LODGE ADD ON
ROCKTAIL BAY
(Full Board basis)
You will be transferred to Rocktail Bay Lodge, situated within the Maputaland
Coastal Forest and Marine Reserve in Northern KwaZulu Natal.
You will spend 3 nights at Rocktail Bay, during which
you will have the opportunity to enjoy the many land and marine activities
on offer to guests.
The main highlight at Rocktail Bay is the miles and miles of pristine
and undeveloped coastline. Activities on offer include snorkeling in search
of tropical fish (flippers and snorkels may be borrowed at the lodge),
while surf and fly fishing is among the best on the east coast, nature
walks through the coastal forest and grasslands, or small game viewing
in open 4x4 vehicles to explore the abundant wildlife in the reserve.
In summer, nocturnal walks and drives along the beach in search of egg
laying sea turtles are a highlight. Scuba diving is available.

You will be transferred from Rocktail Bay directly to Durban Airport,
where you will check in for your departure flight

HLUHLUWE RIVER LODGE
(Full Board basis)
You will be transferred to Hluhluwe River Lodge, situated within the Hluhluwe
Umfolozi Park.
You will spend the next 3 nights at Hluhluwe River Lodge,
which offers excellent game viewing and a chance to see the "Big
Five" from open 4x4 landrovers.
Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park is Africa's oldest proclaimed reserve and is undoubtedly
one of Southern Africa's most beautiful Parks. Famous for saving the White
Rhino from extinction, the park is also home to the rest of the Big 5,
excellent general game, prolific birdlife and stunning scenery. Hluhluwe
River Lodge offers guests the unique opportunity of accessing the lake
from the lodge. Leaving at sunrise, you can cruise down the Hluhluwe River
and then into the lake where you take a slow cruise along the shoreline
of the wetland.
